Position Summary
The Sales Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive learning programs that strengthen the knowledge, skills, productivity, and performance of sales professionals supporting hospital, inpatient, outpatient, and other healthcare settings. This role leads new-hire onboarding, product and clinical education, sales methodology, coaching, certification, and launch-readiness initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to ensure training aligns with commercial priorities, customer needs, and organizational goals.
Essential Functions
• Develop and execute a scalable sales training strategy aligned with commercial objectives, product priorities, and customer needs.
• Design and facilitate new-hire onboarding and continuing education programs for sales professionals supporting hospital, inpatient, outpatient, and wound care environments.
• Create and maintain product, clinical, sales methodology, competitive, market, organizational, and compliance-related training content in partnership with subject matter experts.
• Lead training initiatives for product launches, sales campaigns, new tools, process changes, and strategic commercial programs.
• Build role-based learning paths, assessments, certifications, reinforcement activities, coaching tools, and manager resources that support consistent field execution.
• Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences using adult learning principles and practical application.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Product Management, Operations, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to identify capability gaps and prioritize training needs.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and frontline managers to strengthen coaching effectiveness reinforce training and support ongoing performance development.
• Leverage CRM, learning management, and sales enablement platforms to support training delivery, adoption, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor training metrics, including new-hire ramp time, certification completion, sales productivity, CRM adoption, product launch readiness, coaching effectiveness, learner feedback, and business impact.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to content, delivery, reinforcement, and learning strategy.
• Maintain accurate training records, program documentation, curricula, and learning resources in accordance with Company requirements.
• Manage multiple training projects, timelines, vendors, budgets, and stakeholder expectations with a high level of organization and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
• 5-10 years of demonstrated success in medical device and/ or wound care sales
• 2+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, learning and development, field coaching, or sales leadership.
• Demonstrated understanding of hospital, operating room, inpatient, and outpatient care environments.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for geographically dispersed or field-based sales teams.
• Experience using CRM, learning management, or sales enablement platforms.
Certifications:
No certification is required. Relevant sales training, instructional design, coaching, or healthcare industry certifications are preferred.

• Ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, measure learning effectiveness, and connect training outcomes to business priorities.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer for extended periods.

Work Environment
Employees in this role may be exposed to a variety of environmental, activity-related, and ergonomic hazards throughout the workday. Environmental risks include potential spills, weather-related conditions, inadequate ventilation, exposure to extreme heat or cold, poor housekeeping, chemical exposure, and slip, trip, and fall hazards. Activity-related hazards may involve working around burn or heat sources, compressed gases, electrical cords and tools, energized equipment, and possible exposure to contagious diseases or other unforeseen risks. Ergonomic hazards are also present, including lifting, awkward postures, repetitive motions, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Specific job tasks such as sitting at a workstation for extended periods can lead to back, shoulder, hand, arm injuries, and eye strain, while prolonged standing may result in strains, sprains, and leg or knee injuries. Walking throughout the building introduces the risk of slips, trips, falls, and strains, particularly if walkways are obstructed or wet. Additionally, cleaning up spills can pose hazards such as slips, trips, strains, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Overall, employees must remain aware of these hazards to reduce the risk of injury in the workplace.
This role is ideally based onsite at the Company's Mesa, Arizona headquarters. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available based on business needs, location, experience, and qualifications. Employees are expected to maintain a professional home office environment and may be required to travel to the Mesa office periodically for meetings, training programs, leadership gatherings, or other business-related activities.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time to support field training, onboarding, meetings, conferences, and customer-facing activities. Travel may include overnight and air travel.
