About the jobTwilio is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join the Strategic Sales team. We're looking for a hungry and ambitious individual who has a passion for communications, desire to deliver positive customer outcomes, and wanting to be a part of a world-class sales organization. The Sales Support Specialist will primarily be focused on operational aspects in support of an AE. This individual is 'the glue' between many different functions within the organization, assisting Account Executives with numerous activities and processes along the entire sales cycle.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:
- Be an Internal Liaison: Create and submit requests and follow up through resolution on them, including but not limited to: Billing, Deal Strategy, Legal, and Security.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all aspects throughout the sales process are smooth (Deal Desk, Contracts, Legal, Pre-Sales, Security requests) and to ensure all paperwork is completed and represented accurately. You will work with people, data sets, and processes.
- Build out Pricing and Deal workflows: Prepare Pricing and Deal Structure; use and master internal pricing tools.
- Order Form: Creation, amendments, and execution (signatures). Engage with client stakeholders to ensure Proposal Bill Of Materials (OFs) are correct.
- Quote creation: CPQ workflows, including converting CPQ into a customer-facing quote/doc.
- Customer support: Preparation for sales meetings and conducting background account research in support of selected accounts (
- Supporting Team Success: Creation and maintenance of team-level tracker for all cross-functional challenges and asks, actively working with Regional Leader and frontline leadership to follow up and resolve them.

Required:- 2+ years of sales operations, Deal Desk, or customer success/account management experience
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel
- Experience working within Salesforce CRM
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual who is excited for the opportunity to fuel an already successful organization and sales team
- Collaborative approach, a "can do" attitude, and relentless in pursuing goals and solving problems
- Basic understanding of how different functions within an enterprise organization operate
- Ability to advocate for customers internally with cross-functional stakeholders
- Extreme attention to detail on written and verbal communications
- Extremely organized with above-average proficiency and operational excellence in spreadsheets, doc, and presentation creation
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Knowledge in CPaaS and telecom is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required
Desired:- Experience working with Tableau or Looker
LocationThis role will be remote and based in the United States.

Compensation*Please note the salary range information provided applies only to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State due to local requirements. Compensation for candidates in other locations will be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that hiring for this role is not restricted to the locations listed above.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $65,000 - $85,000
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $72,000 - $95,000
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $78,000 - $105,000
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
