General information

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the knowledge and capabilities of utilizing the Salesforce platform to move projects seamlessly through the sales lifecycle within the Advisory Operations Division by providing the Sales Team with assistance in best practice, project and record creation/direction

Your responsibilities
  • Supports proper implementation and communication of the sales processes to assist the Sales teams in understanding bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
  • Process Service Sales Manager requests for proposal creation. Requests may involve partnering with the Market Development team for services with non-standard pricing.
  • Create sites for Install Bases in ServIS.
  • Process purchases orders by ensuring all required documents are received; create cases to submit to Order Entry team for processing
  • Handle ViewPoint® requests to add new users or modify existing user information and permissions.
  • Creates SharePoint folders for the collection and archival of documentation regarding opportunities, Special Price Agreements (SPA), and/or contracts and records the assumptions and decisions taken during the process, in the systems within their scope of responsibility.
  • Maintains proactive communication with the sales team and other internal functions and provides them with all relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Large Quantity Projects - Sales Support creates opportunities and contacts for records creation of quantities over 10
  • Ensures proper communication and updates on issues related to tools development and new functionalities.
  • Supports division-specific sales process documentation, guidelines, and updates.
  • Supports Front End sales process through transactional opportunity ownership, cross coverage, and special projects.
Your background
  • 1 to 5 years of working in a data driven environment; records, document generation, case management, or other similar industry
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $79,000 and $91,000 annually and is bonus eligible.
