This position is responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting dealers and distributors throughout the assigned territory.Key ResponsibilitiesAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions:
- Manage and grow relationships with existing dealer accounts and distributor partners within the assigned territory.
- Develop new accounts through cold calling, company-provided leads, referrals, and other business development activities.
- Drive the sale and adoption of products while implementing company sales and marketing programs.
- Forecast sales for new and existing products and identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide customers with product knowledge, sales support, and guidance on effective marketing strategies.
- Support dealer retail and distributor sales activities to maximize sales and market share within the territory.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on assigned dealer accounts and customer activity.
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity, and communicate relevant information to management.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and recommend appropriate product alternatives or substitutions when applicable.
- Execute sales, marketing, promotional, and service programs within the assigned territory.
- Address customer complaints, special requests, and exceptions professionally and efficiently, with minimal management intervention.
- Collaborate effectively with Credit, Operations, Customer Service, Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Directors, Marketing, and other internal teams to provide exceptional customer support.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory for customer visits, sales calls, and business development activities.
- Attend regional RV trade shows, sales meetings, and other industry events as needed.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the RV industry or a related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft's Office Suite or programs and other standard PC applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven ability to work independently, make sound business decisions, and assess risk effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to effectively manage priorities within an assigned territory.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout California.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $66,500 to $95,750, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
