Full Job Description
Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to be the frontline sales person who is responsible for the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers.
Will also serve as the interface between the business and some of the most important Distribution Partners, ensuring both businesses needs are met to maintain a strong and healthy business relationship.

Home base location: Southeast FL area

Key Responsibilites

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan
  • Screen customer base for new opportunities, generate leads and maintain pipeline
  • Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met
  • Join and be key part of a team of driven, seasoned sales professionals.
  • Collect, report, and analyze the customer feedback / information on present as well as future market trends in the context of possible further market penetration and forecasting.
  • Promote the positive company image and develop long-term relations with the customers and become their trusted coatings advisor.
  • Attend necessary Distributor Selling Shows - usually in the Fall
  • Attend International Boatbuilders Expo (Tampa), Fort Lauderdale International Boat show and Palm Beach International Boat show


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, GED required
  • Knowledge & Work Experience - Paints and coatings industry, any B2B industry environment.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management or sales to strategic accounts required.
  • Experience delivering customer focused solutions based on their business needs.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish speaker would be an advantage
  • Skills - Computer skills are essential: Good working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint - Experience with CRM software and SAP a benefit.
  • Must be able to participate and complete a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test, and use respirator as required.


Compensation & Benefit

Base salary range for this role is: $90,000 to $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
