Full Job Description
The Strategic Solutions Team (SST) partners with our global sales team to provide strategic guidance and client-facing support from discovery through vendor selection. Within SST, Project Managers play a vital role in winning and retaining clients-especially in complex Enterprise+ pursuits-by leading large-scale sales projects and managing deliverables such as RFPs, presentations, site visits, and business cases.

This role requires strong project management, communication, and strategic thinking skills, along with a deep understanding of O.C. Tanner's offerings, internal processes, and the competitive landscape.

Primary Responsibilities & Attributes:

  • Lead and manage major sales projects, particularly Enterprise+ opportunities, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Assemble and coordinate cross-functional "strike teams" under SST leadership direction.
  • Act as the primary liaison for gathering critical input from global subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Collaborate across departments including Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and others.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve sales documents, presentations, and messaging.
  • Apply insights from competitive intelligence and win-loss interviews to strengthen positioning.
  • Follow and improve project plans and internal processes; contribute to special initiatives (e.g., VCP).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Communicate effectively, delegate tasks, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Build strong relationships and trust with global sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain composure and organization under pressure; demonstrate flexibility to support global counterparts.
  • Use and adapt to team platforms (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce, Responsive, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, positive attitude that enhances team culture.
