Sales Order Management Professional

Position Summary
The Planning & Order Professional is responsible for managing the end-to-end order process, ensuring efficient coordination between customers, Supply Chain, Production, and other internal stakeholders. This role serves as a key interface for intercompany customers, supports planning and operational activities, and contributes to the continuous improvement of order management processes. The position plays an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business success while supporting innovative mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface for intercompany customers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Review customer orders for completeness, accuracy, and plausibility, ensuring alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Manage the complete order processing cycle, from order receipt through delivery coordination and invoicing.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Production, Finance, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Support and execute special projects and operational tasks within Supply Chain and Production.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide backup support for order processing, planning activities, and organizational tasks within the Service Center function.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute actively to shaping the future of mobility through professional and customer-focused operational support.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Education
  • Completed higher education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related technical or commercial field.
Experience
  • Several years of professional experience in order management, planning, supply chain, customer service, or a comparable position is preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Understanding of order management, supply chain processes, and production planning principles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Springfield, MO is $75,900-$113,900 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Zelisko is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies. Employees working on federal contracts covered by the Federal Paid Sick Leave requirements will be notified and will receive benefits consistent and compliant with the FPSL requirements. Hired applicant will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics of up to 4% of annual salary.
