The Role
Beanfield is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to serve as the analytical and operational backbone of our growing Residential MDU sales organization. This role combines pricing support and sales analytics with the operational rigor and escalation management that allow our front-line sales leaders to stay focused on coaching reps and winning buildings.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience to deliver pricing recommendations, performance insights, and scalable operating processes that enable continued growth of our Residential MDU sales business.
This is a high leverage role for someone who is equally comfortable building a pricing analysis in Excel and triaging a rep escalation.
What You'll Do
Sales Performance & Analytics
- Support the sales team with pricing requests, offer generation, and alignment to sales metrics.
- Own weekly and monthly sales reporting for the residential MDU sales team, including funnel health, conversion rates, and rep productivity.
- Analyze sales performance to target, ensure competitiveness, find upside opportunities and identify operational gaps.
- Produce ad hoc analyses and executive-ready reporting in support of business case development and strategic planning cycles.
Sales Channel Development
- Support the growth and optimization of Beanfield's residential lead-generation channels, including digital, referral, partner, and emerging acquisition sources, in coordination with Marketing.
- Manage partner-generated lead programs, ensuring timely lead distribution, follow-up, accountability, and ongoing partner engagement.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and external partners to improve lead quality, conversion readiness, and overall channel effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain channel operating procedures, ensuring consistent execution and alignment across all lead-generation programs.
Operations & Escalation Management
- Serve as the first-line intake point for rep-level operational escalations: triaging issues, resolving where possible, and routing only what requires leadership attention.
- Manage the in-person event budget in partnership with the Event Coordinator and Marketing, including tracking spend and sales outcomes
- Identify and implement process improvements; document recurring escalation patterns and lead cross-functionally to reduce escalation volume over time
- Be present for key events to support excellent execution where required
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications or SaaS Sales Operations, Pricing, Revenue Operations, Business Analysis, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting field or direct sales organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modelling.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Hubspot, including reporting and pipeline analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the operational instinct to resolve issues without escalating every one.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across sales, finance, product, and marketing audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
- Telecommunications industry experience: fibre, internet, wireless- with channel sales and support strongly preferred
- Experience supporting MDU (multi-dwelling unit) or residential field sales teams.
- Familiarity with CPQ tools, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience administering or scaling sales reporting in a growth environment where reporting standards are still being established.
