Sales & Operational Planning Leader
Job Description
The Sales & Operational Planning Leader serves as the subject matter expert for demand planning, supply response, network optimization, and capacity and resource planning while supporting various projects including demand plans, finite schedule, consumption models, long-term capacity planning, network and production strategy optimization, integration of new businesses/projects, and provides support to finance department for periodic reporting and forecasting.
- Responsible for supporting and facilitating the S&OP process within a 24-month horizon at the site; including scenario planning and synthesis of data to support the demand, supply, recon and exec review cycles.
- Responsible for facilitating planning discussions to gain consensus among functions and stakeholders.
- Drive full utilization of ERP system (SAP) capabilities to automate supply chain activities and reporting.
- Produce periodic S&OP reports including but not limited to long-term capacity plans, utilization, resource constraints, etc.
- Accountable for the raw materials management process, including forecasting, scheduling, working capital control and obsolescence.
- Maintain a production plan to support a production schedule to support the identification of material, asset, and manpower requirements.
- Maintain the S&OP/ planning master data integrity in support of cross functional tools and systems.
- Facilitate the process matching demand and supply, as well as adjust plan/schedule to match availability of resources.
- Optimize Capacity Plan to support the S&OP (24-month) and longer-term business planning. Identify excess/shortage of capacity/manpower for various functions to take actions in advance to address potential production and customer delivery issues. Drive profitability by optimization of capacity utilization.
- Propose different scenarios/Trade-Offs at recon/exec reviews to facilitate decision making regarding capacity allocation among projects and projects.
- Ensuring forecasts are captured, aligned within capacity, and reviewed in Supply response meetings to optimize capacity/ revenue as required.
- Responsible for capacity planning ensuring all demand signals are incorporated while working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Responsible for maintaining risk, contingency, and countermeasure plan to meet the OTIF and Financial commitments.
- Providing insight and reports into capacity utilization, demand/ supply gaps, risk to execution, and scenario/ contingency planning.
- Drive ideation with partner functions to optimize delivery, productivity, and cost.

Canada Salary Range :CAD90,000.00 - CAD135,000.00/Per Year
