Pay Range: $71,806 - $89,040 annually (Plus Incentive)

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

NFM's Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing the performance of the sales staff. Their goal is to ensure that the customer sales survey and key results are met.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life
  • Recruit: Interview and hire sales staff to meet designated staffing levels
  • Manage: Conduct performance reviews, weekly department meetings, monthly one-on-ones and create staff schedules to meet customer needs
  • Observe: Monitor sales staff and provide feedback, recognition and coaching to ensure they're meeting sales performance measures
  • Coach: Train sales staff on product knowledge and selling skills
  • Improve: Actively work on process improvements and attend/participate in all scheduled training events
  • Resolve: Assist sales staff with merchandise questions and issues with external customers
  • Maintain: Uphold the mission and critical measures of the department, control expenses, turnover and complete staff paperwork accurately and timely

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales/marketing, related area or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of supervisory or management experience
  • 2 years of sales experience (retail sales experience in a true selling environment is preferred)
  • Experience as an NFM shadow trainer preferred. Product knowledge is preferred
  • PC experience with Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred
  • Ability to train, coach and develop staff. Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Decision making, problem solving, and time management skills. Professional appearance, Positive attitude, sense of urgency, desire to grow, team player and caring
  • English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred
  • Depending on division, valid driver's license and ongoing, acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends. Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
