What You'll Do As the
SalesManager,you will have the opportunity to lead our Sales Team with a primary focus on coaching, team development, driving sales results, and managing customer relationships for our Pacific Northwest business. You will be accountable for fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring operational discipline, and delivering consistent sales and margin growth through effective leadership and alignment with regional goals.
The Sales Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager for our Northeast region.
Location: This role is based out of our Frederick, MD office. Frequent travel required.
Responsibilities - Lead and inspire sales teamsto consistently achieve - and surpass - sales and margin targets.
- Coach, mentor, and elevate your team's skills and performancethrough structured development, guidance, and support.
- Set clear expectations and drive accountabilitythrough ongoing feedback, performance reviews, and thoughtful corrective action when necessary.
- Lead through empowerment-focus on developing and enabling your team's selling capabilities.
- Leverage CRM systems, forecasting tools, and data-driven reporting to monitor performance, identify trends and opportunities, and build a culture centered on results.
- Partner with Sales, Distribution and Manufacturing leadersto build and execute annual business plans aligned with market needs and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to set budgets and deliver consistent financial performance, meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
- Use market intelligence to grow share and influence buying decisions, driving demand forMetrie-distributed products.
- Expand the customer base and bring new products and go-to-market strategies to lifefor our distribution business.
- Champion a high-performance culture, taking ownership of team results andmaintainingmomentum regardless of market conditions.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Businessor a related field is preferred -relevant experience is equally valued.
- 3-5 years of successful leadership experience, with a record of motivating teams and achieving strong results.
- Confidentcommunicatorable to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in coaching and developing talent, witha track recordof driving measurable growth in skills and performance.
- Strong atbuilding account plans andsales processes andensuring teams stay focused and accountable.
- Adaptable coaching style, able to support reps across different customer tiers and sales models.
