What You'll DoAs a
Sales Manager, you will manage and coordinate internal and external activities related to the sales and marketing of flour products. You'll serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams while driving growth and ensuring exceptional service.
Your responsibilities will include:- Managing customer relationships, including pricing, contract negotiation, and account development
- Prospecting and developing new business opportunities to expand the customer base
- Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring market trends, supply and demand, and competitors
- Building strong, long-term customer partnerships by understanding customer needs and business objectives
- Traveling to customer locations and industry events to promote products and strengthen relationships
- Supporting development and execution of strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, transportation, and co-product sales
- Acting as a liaison between sales and internal departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
- Preparing and maintaining sales reports, customer data, and performance tracking
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration
- Performing other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For- Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
- Minimum of 5 years of sales and customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of milling, food production, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong customer focus with the ability to manage complex account needs
