Job Summary:We're looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our dealership's variable operations, including both new and pre-owned vehicle sales. The SM is responsible for driving the sales strategy, coaching and developing the sales team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process. This individual will play a key role in forecasting, planning, setting department goals, and helping the dealership meet and exceed performance targets.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 (based on experience and performance)
General Sales Manager Responsibilities:- Lead the daily operations of the sales department, including new and used vehicle sales
- Hire, develop, and manage a team of sales managers and sales consultants
- Set and manage performance goals for the sales team to meet dealership objectives
- Drive business growth by analyzing market trends, adjusting sales strategy, and managing inventory effectively
- Partner with other department heads to ensure a smooth and cohesive customer experience
- Create and implement sales promotions and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
- Conduct regular sales meetings and one-on-ones to provide coaching and motivation
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer programs, and state/federal laws
- Monitor customer satisfaction and work to resolve any escalated concerns promptly
Sales Manager Requirements:- Proven track record of growing sales volume
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of automotive CRM tools, desking software, and DMS platforms
- Ability to motivate and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
