ResponsibilitiesPosition SummaryThe SIOP Manager is responsible for leading the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process to ensure alignment across demand, supply, and financial plans. This role drives cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and support efficient production scheduling. The SIOP Manager plays a key role in ensuring the organization can meet customer demand while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and facilitate the monthly SIOP process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop accurate demand forecasts and assess market trends
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure capacity and material availability align with forecasted demand.
- Analyze supply and demand data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities; present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and production performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, inventory management, and production planning processes.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
- Partner with Finance to align operational plans with business budgets and performance targets.
- Support ERP/MRP system enhancements to improve visibility and accuracy of SIOP data.
- Prepare and deliver regular executive summaries and performance reports for leadership review.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a SIOP or demand planning leadership role
Preferred Qualifications- Master of Business Administration from an accredited institution
- Manufacturing industry experience; multi-site experience a plus.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methods preferred
