Sales-Focused General Manager

About Us:

Steves & Sons, a 150-year-old family-owned door manufacturer, is seeking a results-driven Sales-Focused General Manager to drive growth, foster customer relationships, and oversee operations.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned leader with a strong sales background (80%) and operational expertise (20%) to manage our sales team, develop strategic directions, oversee and enhance production goals, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales (80%):
  • Lead sales department to exceed performance goals
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive growth and satisfaction
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials at competitive prices
  • Collaborate with sales teams to translate customer needs into high-quality products
  • Foster a customer-centric culture across the organization

Operations (20%):
  • Oversee plant operations, production, quality, and safety
  • Implement lean principles and continuous improvement to maximize efficiency
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
