About your role:

At Fiserv, a successful Sales Executive II is a dynamic leader who excels in driving revenue generation in the Credit Union Solutions business. This individual is responsible for generating leads, securing new clients, and expanding Fiserv's market share within the industry. The role requires a strategic mindset to build strong relationships, develop selling strategies, and close deals efficiently.

What you'll do:

  • Sales Responsibility: Generate and develop opportunities from prospect to close/won. Provide in-depth discoveries to identify customer needs & requirements, tailor product demonstrations, and presentations to highlight the value proposition of the solutions for banking institutions.
  • Prospect net new digital, (online banking) & electronic payments opportunities within the credit union and banking market. In-depth knowledge of banking & money movement eco system along with a keen understanding of core banking, digital, payments- both retail and SMB. including their functionality, integration capabilities, and technical requirements.
  • Manage the rapid movement of leads through the sales process, ensuring expeditious closing of business.
  • Leverage executive-level contacts to enhance account coverage and create demand.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, fostering trust and confidence in the solutions and the organization's capabilities.
  • Secure funding for customer initiatives by linking Fiserv solutions to client business issues.
  • Establish and execute on monthly/quarterly forecast for net new revenues through accurate, predictable outcomes via pipeline & CRM reporting.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and industry regulations to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.


Experience you'll need to have:
  • 7+ years of direct selling experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.


What would be great to have:
  • Experience in developing strategic sales approaches and account plans.
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, specifically digital and payments/money movement eco systems along with core banking systems
  • Experience in leveraging executive contacts for expanded account coverage.
  • Familiarity with core banking solutions, and related technologies such as APIs, data integration, and security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and presenting business solutions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and people skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in building and utilizing internal/external industry networks.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.


Important information about this role:
  • Travel will be required up to 80% of the time.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range
$71,400.00 - $151,900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For commission eligible employees, the successful candidate is eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the terms of the applicable Fiserv Sales Compensation Plan.
