Smart Communications is looking for an experienced Sales Executive who will be responsible for selling into the Financial Services vertical. Quota attainment will be realized by creating a strong pipeline of direct business opportunities as well as identifying and cultivating business partners to drive revenue.
Candidates should be comfortable with complex SaaS sales and enterprise sales cycles. Working with senior business and technology contacts within customers, prospects and partners is required.
Experience with Customer Communications Management (CCM) and Retail Banking is preferred.
The responsibilities of the role include:Delivering revenue, and developing and managing territory to:
- Exceed quota in annual SaaS targets, producing consistent quarter-by-quarter revenue through new business opportunities.
- Build an understanding and knowledge of Smart Communications' competitive advantage within the sector and be fully confident presenting and demonstrating this to prospects and partners.
- Work with internal teams to develop new business opportunities through specific marketing activities including conferences, campaigns and seminars using extensive market knowledge and leveraging our partner network.
Demonstrating strong communication and collaborative working skills by being able to:
- Map and build senior level relationships across the sector and partner organizations. Partner effectively with internal teams, including pre-sales, business development, customer success, professional services, alliances, and support to ensure that prospects' and customers' needs are met.
- Ensure that Smart Communications remains ahead of the competition by sharing any competitive knowledge acquired.
Effectively managing the sales processes to drive maximum revenue, including:
- Manage the commercial & legal negotiation process in partnership with Smart Communications' legal representatives.
- Manage all stages of the sales process to utilize Smart Communications' resources in the most effective way.
- Maintain accurate account, contact and opportunity records in Salesforce.com on a weekly basis.
Be an active team member of the global Smart Communications team by:
- Participating in Smart Communications company initiatives.
- Familiarizing self and complying with company procedures.
- Always being an advocate for Smart Communications.
What we're looking for: - 4-year college degree
- 5 years (minimum) experience in a direct selling environment
- Experience selling to Enterprise Accounts in the Financial Services Vertical
- Consistently meets and exceeds revenue targets
- Preference given to:
- Ability to demonstrate experience building and developing a sales pipeline
- Significant Customer Communications Management (CCM) software sales
- Candidates from the Southeast region

Salary will depend on your experience and will be highly competitive. All our packages include an annual bonus based on the Company's performance, so we are all incentivized to over-achieve!
