Full Job Description

Purpose:

The Sales Enablement Sr. Partner helps turn learning into stronger Sales performance by coordinating high-impact training, onboarding, and development programs across Athene’s Sales organization. You’ll help bring programs such as monthly enablement programming and Wholesaler U to life while ensuring Sales professionals have relevant, engaging resources that help them succeed.

This is an opportunity to work across Sales leaders, subject-matter experts, and business partners while building a strong understanding of our products, workflows, and evolving distribution organization. At Athene, you’ll join a growing retirement services business whose partnership with Apollo provides scale, investment expertise, and opportunities to innovate. Our BEAM values—Believe in your co-workers, Engage actively, Act like owners, and Make it happen—shape how we collaborate, move with urgency, and deliver results.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and development programs across Sales roles and channels, including recurring enablement programming and Wholesaler U, ensuring an organized and engaging learner experience.

  • Support the rollout and continuous improvement of Sales curricula by coordinating pilots, schedules, learning materials, participant communications, feedback, and follow-up.

  • Maintain role-based learning paths, training calendars, presentations, job aids, videos, and other resources, identifying opportunities to make content more effective and easier for Sales professionals to use.

  • Partner with Sales leaders, subject-matter experts, and external partners to coordinate learning experiences and build a practical understanding of Sales activities, workflows, and foundational product knowledge.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data and participant feedback to identify insights, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend improvements.

  • Support emerging product, technology, and sales-skills learning needs while thoughtfully using AI-enabled learning and productivity tools to improve content development, summarize feedback, streamline routine work, and create more time for high-value enablement activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales enablement, learning and development, training or program coordination, Sales support, or relevant professional experience, preferred.

  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, establish clear deadlines, adapt as needs change, and move work forward with sound judgment.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to build credibility, influence without direct authority, provide constructive feedback, and support presentations or small-group facilitation.

  • Critical thinking, creativity, and a continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to turn program data, participant feedback, and business needs into practical recommendations and solutions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word; familiarity with learning-management systems, CRM or video platforms, and the ability to thoughtfully use and learn AI-enabled productivity tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources, education, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
