Location: Burlington, Ontario or Ottawa, Ontario or Richmond, British Columbia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 4 days on site (Monday to Thursday)

Job Summary:

Hands-on content development and enablement role responsible for building and distributing learning that scales Semtech's commercial organization. This specialist owns LMS administration, Salesforce skills onboarding, SharePoint content, growth tier support programs, and AI tool training for internal and external sellers. The ideal candidate combines deep content development experience with the ability to work independently through ambiguity — producing polished, effective learning materials that close skill gaps at scale.

Responsibilities:

Content Development & LMS

  • Create scalable training content: courses, modules, job aids, video, and quick-start guides

  • Administer Absorb LMS: learning paths, user management, reporting, and content curation

  • Edit and produce audio and video assets using Camtasia or equivalent tools

  • Co-create product training with Business Units for all audience levels and regions

  • Develop and maintain graphically aligned, brand-consistent content independently

Salesforce & Onboarding Programs

  • Own Salesforce skills onboarding for internal and external sellers — from fundamentals to opportunity management

  • Build and deliver Salesforce proficiency certifications (Level 1 and Level 2)

  • Design scalable onboarding programs that close skill gaps consistently across new hires and partner channels

SharePoint & Knowledge Management

  • Create, update, and manage Commercial Team SharePoint content libraries and resource hubs

  • Maintain SFDC knowledge base and business process documentation for sales workflows

  • Identify and fill content gaps proactively, own knowledge currency across enablement repositories

Account Growth Tier Support & Certification

  • Develop, distribute, and support growth tier go-to-market skills training through the LMS for distributors and reps

  • Build Product Training and FAE Certifications

  • Assess training needs, gaps, and effectiveness metrics on an ongoing basis

AI Tools & Training Delivery

  • Support Vinton AI configuration and user adoption across Salesforce instances

  • Manage Claude/SharePoint integration, Co-Pilot use cases, and AI role-play tool administration

  • Facilitate AI training sessions and certification tracks, Account Insight Process workshop support, and onboarding programs

  • Track and Report on tool adoption include usage and estimated productivity trends

General Commercial Team Engagement

  • Promote interaction, engagement, and support for the field via use of tools like Teams Channels, regular office hours / ask me anything sessions, enablement effectiveness surveys

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on content development experience, ideally in a technology-based company

  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver polished instructional content independently

  • LMS platform experience — administration and content (Absorb strongly preferred)

  • Salesforce experience; comfortable building skills training and onboarding programs around CRM workflows

  • SharePoint content creation and management experience

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools in a professional context (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent)

  • Video and audio editing proficiency; experience with Camtasia or similar tools

  • Demonstrated experience working with internal subject matter experts to source and validate content

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate ambiguity with minimal direction

Desired Qualifications:

  • Instructional design or adult learning background

  • Absorb Create experience for LMS content authoring

  • Generative AI experience (prompt development, AI-assisted content workflows)

  • Semiconductor or technical B2B industry experience

  • Certification program development experience

  • SAP experience an asset

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $90,000 - $105,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
