OverviewThe Sales District Leader (SDL) is responsible for leading execution and managing the customer relationships in large format accounts. You will lead a team of frontline employees to merchandise orders for key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment. Position is directly responsible for full-time Merchandisers, whose primary set of responsibilities is to service large volume stores, such as supermarkets, Mass Merchants, etc. This role also indirectly leads Large Format Presell Representatives and Territory Sales Representatives (in Geo Model) through a dotted line reporting relationship, providing guidance, leveraging influential leadership to ensure cohesive performance across the broader large format team.
This role will drive superior marketplace execution and customer service, share growth and profit performance. As the manager of full-time Merchandisers, this role will have the authority to interview, hire, train, promote, and manage all aspects of the performance of the full-time Merchandising team.
ResponsibilitiesSpecific management duties, include but are not limited to, interviewing, selecting, training, and scheduling Merchandisers, assessing performance against performance metrics, and providing feedback on performance on a regular basis. This job works under moderate supervision to execute relatively complex tasks for the Field Sales Management area, applying broad knowledge to perform more complex analysis within area of expertise.
- Plays a key role in the execution and optimization of established processes to effectively manage various tasks in field sales management, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Assists in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Aids in the creation and refinement of compelling sales bids, proposals, and presentations.
- Facilitates and leads engaging product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Supports the achievement of challenging sales targets through proactive team coordination and motivation.
- Helps streamline area processes, employing and communicating best practices and methods that align with the overall functional and business strategy to ensure achievement of organizational standards of excellence.
Compensation and Benefits:- The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out quarterly.

Qualifications- A minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees or demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

- Consumer packaged goods experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 40lbs periodically
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Safe driving record strongly preferred
