What we look for

Based in Glendale, WI, the OPTIMA Global Sales Director serves as the architect of OPTIMA's global commercial growth strategy, leading where and how the brand wins in the marketplace. This role drives profitable revenue growth through channel strategy, customer development, e-commerce expansion, commercial analytics, and go-to-market execution.

Partnering closely with sales, marketing, operations, and global commercial teams, this leader identifies growth opportunities, aligns commercial priorities, and builds scalable strategies that strengthen market share, brand equity, and long-term business performance.

How you will do it

Own the global commercial growth strategy for the OPTIMA brand across customers, channels, and regions. Develop solutions that capitalize on channel and new business opportunities for the OPTIMA brand. Achieve sales plans for volume, margin, and market share for OPTIMA. Lead and develop the OPTIMA field sales organization and agency partners to deliver commercial growth objectives. Develop channel and route-to-market strategies that maximize revenue, margin, and market share growth. Create and lead growth plans for key customers and strategic partners while strengthening executive customer relationships. Lead e-commerce, Amazon, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer growth strategies. Drive specialty distributor and performance aftermarket growth across enthusiast, marine, powersports, and emerging channels. Establish commercial KPIs, sell-out visibility, and performance metrics to drive data-based decisions. Lead go-to-market strategies, product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer activation plans. Partner cross-functionally to align pricing, product, merchandising, and marketing investments with growth objectives.

What we look for

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related business experience with preferred 5+ in sales management
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a highly productive, energetic and engaged environment; role requires dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
  • Capable of influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment without direct authority.

Preferred
  • Automotive aftermarket experience preferred.

Travel
  • 30-40% over-night travel possible. 90% USA
