Full Job Description
Overview The People Platform is seeking an accomplished Sales Director to drive enterprise revenue growth across our audience intelligence, measurement, consumer insights, location intelligence, and mobile data solutions portfolio. This is a true hunter role focused on generating pipeline, building relationships, winning new business, and closing enterprise opportunities across brands, agencies, media companies, retailers, and marketing organizations.  The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise seller with experience in data, analytics, marketing technology, advertising technology, consumer insights, market research, measurement, or related industries. You excel at navigating complex organizations, building trust with senior decision-makers, and consistently delivering net-new revenue growth. Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Drive net-new revenue growth through proactive prospecting, pipeline development, and new logo acquisition.
  • Generate opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, strategic account targeting, industry events, and relationship building.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and translate data, measurement, analytics, and research capabilities into business value.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, media, analytics, insights, research, audience strategy, programmatic, and customer intelligence functions.
  • Execute outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, CRM platforms, and other channels.
  • Position The People Platform's audience intelligence, measurement, consumer insights, location intelligence, attribution, and mobile data solutions against client business objectives.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, business cases, and demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Partner with internal sales leadership, operations, product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM hygiene.
  • Lead client negotiations and finalize commercial agreements.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets and quota.
  • Close business with meaningful ACV and long-term customer growth potential.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and strategic business development opportunities.
  • Share customer and market feedback that helps improve go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales effectiveness.
  • Operate effectively in a growth-stage environment where priorities, processes, and responsibilities may evolve as the business scales.
Qualifications Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience selling solutions within marketing technology, advertising technology, media, analytics, measurement, market research, consumer insights, audience intelligence, location intelligence, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success as a quota-carrying enterprise seller with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven hunter mentality with experience generating pipeline through outbound prospecting and consistently closing net-new business.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media, advertising, analytics, research, and marketing ecosystem.
  • Experience selling to enterprise brands, agencies, media organizations, retailers, or marketing technology stakeholders.
  • Proven consultative selling skills with a track record of closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Strong negotiation skills across business, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, proposal development, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand customer environments and clearly articulate value.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and maintaining accurate forecasts.

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in New York City for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 plus commission and uncapped earning potential. Total compensation is tied directly to revenue performance and new business generation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
