Job DescriptionAs a Sales Director - Living Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting iA Living Benefits products and offerings to Independent Financial Advisors through the Brokerage Network. You will build and maintain strong business relationships with living benefits advisors, as well as executive and administrative staff at MGAs and advisor offices, helping to support business growth and deliver exceptional service.

What you'll accomplish with us
As a Sales Director - Living Benefits Specialist, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a provincial marketing plan in collaboration with iA Insurance and Wealth teams to drive sales growth and expand advisor awareness of iA's Living Benefits product offering and industry-leading ease-of-doing-business processes.
- Educate and support advisors through individual and group training sessions on iA's Living Benefits products, sales concepts, and illustration software.
- Generate new business opportunities and build relationships with active, past, and prospective advisors while leveraging available budgets to maximize advisor reach and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the insurance sales team to maintain regular contact with MGA executive teams, create and deliver impactful in-person and virtual presentations, and strengthen brand awareness.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner and represent iA at conferences, road shows, presentations, and other industry events to support business development efforts.

- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or brokerage environment, along with strong knowledge of living benefits products, insurance concepts, tools, and industry practices. A Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma is required. Industry designations such as CLU, CFP, CHS, or other related certifications are considered assets. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Advanced level of English proficiency required, as the role involves training advisors on insurance products, responding to inquiries, developing business relationships, delivering presentations, and collaborating with advisors, MGA executive teams, and business partners in a predominantly English-speaking environment on a regular basis.

The typical base salary hiring range for this position is between $87,903 and $115,371 CAD per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance-based incentive compensation program. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
