Job DescriptionWhat you'll own- Provide leadership for the sales organization, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring of team members.
- Monitor staff performance, implement goals, document progress, approve incentive compensation, and partner with People Team on employee-related matters.
- Drive activities involved in selling Global Payments products and services and expanding existing client relationships.
- Direct resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner, assisting sales executives in effective use of tools and resources.
- Participate in establishing financial goals, objectives, and measurements to achieve growth targets.
- Develop and execute sales plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team and revenue objectives.
- Identify critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis, recommending strategies for improvement.
- Implement and execute sales policies and practices, oversee trade show participation, and contribute to planning of sales meetings.
- Prepare sales production reports for senior management and participate in building, packaging, and price setting to meet market needs.
- Monitor client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction, responding to feedback as needed.
- Ensure development and maintenance of long-term relationships with Global Payments' client base.
- Encourage staff participation in product, service, and industry-related educational opportunities to strengthen skills and customer service.
- Assist sales executives in attaining revenue goals, including development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close opportunities.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What you'll bring- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing sales or client management teams in a complex, results-oriented environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience developing sales plans, managing performance measures and delivering against growth quotas.
- Knowledge of payment solutions, technology, systems and industry practices, with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions.
- Expert communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence clients, partners and leaders at all levels.
- Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving ability and organization, with the composure to manage competing priorities and sensitive employee or client issues.
- Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships across clients, employees, senior leaders and external industry partners.
- Willingness to travel as required

For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $175,700.00-$261,350.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role's responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate's experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. We encourage you to consult with your recruiter to confirm the budget for your location and to better understand the applicable pay scale. This position is eligible for commission.
