Full Job Description
Job Title: Sales Analytics Analyst-NWPB (Category)

Position Overview:

This position supports the Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages (NWPB) division as a Sales Analytics Analyst dedicated to supporting the Category Strategy team. The analyst will serve as a critical thought partner to category leaders, providing insights, analytics, and reporting that help identify emerging consumer and retailer trends, shape category strategies, and drive growth for NWPB's portfolio of premium brands, including San Pellegrino, Maison Perrier, Acqua Panna, and Essentia.

This role goes beyond reporting and data management. The analyst will help transform data into actionable business insights that influence category recommendations, customer strategies, and marketplace decisions. By leveraging syndicated data, retailer insights, and internal business intelligence resources, this individual will help the Category Strategy team understand market dynamics, uncover growth opportunities, and strengthen NWPB's competitive position across channels and customers. In addition to that, this role supports category presentations that are shared amongst the local & global leadership teams.

As an integral member of the Category Strategy organization, you will collaborate closely with category leaders, customer teams, sales analytics, and cross-functional partners to deliver fact-based recommendations that support category growth, enhance retailer partnerships, and drive market share gains for San Pellegrino, Maison Perrier, Acqua Panna, Essentia, and the broader NWPB portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysts will advise our category team by leading the facilitation of best-in-class data, insights, reporting, and analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Category Strategy leaders to identify growth opportunities for San Pellegrino, Maison Perrier, Acqua Panna, Essentia, and the broader NWPB portfolio by analyzing category trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and retailer strategies.


  • Develop actionable category insights and recommendations that help position NWPB brands to win within evolving consumer preferences, premium beverage trends, and retailer growth strategies.


  • Monitor category, consumer, and competitor performance to proactively identify risks and opportunities that influence brand share, category growth, and customer business planning.


  • Support the development of category growth strategies and customer-facing selling stories that demonstrate how NWPB brands can drive incremental category value and meet retailer objectives


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales or a related sales environment with a focus on sales reporting and analytics.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Intermediate/advanced skill in Excel (Xlookups, pivots, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time-management abilities
  • Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comprehensive understanding of 4P sales fundamentals


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Analytical Experience: Understanding data, building reports, and conducting analysis
  • Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) and data visualization techniques.
  • Background in CPG or retail, with experience working in category strategy.
  • Track record of successfully achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) objectives in previous roles.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and identify opportunities that extend beyond the defined role.


Salary: $79,503.52 to $109,746.80 per year

Bonus Eligibility: 10%

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
