Job Description
COMSOL, Inc. is looking for a Sales Account Representative/Manager to expand our business by uncovering new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and successfully closing sales with both prospective and current customers. In this role, you will work closely with COMSOL engineers, leveraging their technical expertise in the software and the scientific applications it serves to deliver value to clients. This is an in-office position, M-F / 8am - 5pm
Primary Responsibilities
• Drive sales from initial contact to close via phone and web meetings
• Establish new accounts in an assigned territory, industry, or engineering discipline.
• Manage and develop existing accounts through account strategy, resource allocation, and customer service.
• Engage regularly with customers and prospects to understand their business needs while identifying key influencers and decision makers.
• Understand and articulate the value of simulation software, especially the advantages of multiphysics simulation.
• Organize and participate in sales presentations and events; explain licensing models; create quotations; and discuss licensing terms and conditions with prospects, users, procurement specialists, and other customer personnel.
• Effectively collaborate with other team members, particularly in the engineering, marketing, licensing, and legal groups.
Minimum Qualifications
• Associate or bachelor's degree, or in place of degree, 4+ years of relevant sales experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel for limited times in order to run or assist in running COMSOL-sponsored events and activities (< 10%).
• Current eligibility to work in the U.S. No sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or science
• Prior B2B sales or customer service experience.
• Previous or current involvement with technology-based companies, research organizations, or technical academic institutions.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Salary Range: $80k - $110k
