Sales, Account Manager - Ultrasound (British Columbia, Canada)

In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and expanding market presence by both penetrating new accounts and deepening relationships within existing customers. By understanding customer business objectives, you will position tailored Ultrasound (Cardiovascular, General Imaging, and POC) solutions that deliver measurable value and long-term partnership.

This territory covers all of British Columbia, but we are hoping to have someone based out of great Vancouver.

Your role:

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with the customer at all levels in the buying organization and Philips team.
  • Once an order is closed, continuing communication with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns.
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way while meeting their needs.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Ensuring order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers.
  • Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in medical device hospital sales- capital equipment sales is highly preferred.
  • Your skills include effective account management, managing customer relationships, converting new business, prioritizing a funnel, and all tasks relating to sales growth and market expansion.
  • You have excellent communication skills including presentations up to C-suite, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and a team player at heart.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week, preferably 4 days per week in the field. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role. Must be willing to travel, including some over nights.

The pay range for this position is $67,900 to $106,700 plus company/fleet car.  The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
