Job Description

Ready to make your mark? Join our dynamic team as a Sales Manager for "West Coast Customer," where you'll drive growth with the new and emerging players transforming the automotive industry.

Your Impact:

As a Sales Manager, you'll own the full acquisition cycle for our Vehicle Motion product portfolio-from initial opportunity to successful launch. This is your chance to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across engineering, manufacturing, packaging, and logistics to build compelling business cases and winning quotes. You'll be the trusted voice for our customers, building strong relationships with key stakeholders while navigating complex technical requirements.

Your Challenge:

Post-acquisition, you'll take charge of all sales and account management activities. Partner closely with engineering during development, then drive industrialization and product launch readiness. Your ownership doesn't stop at SOP-you'll collaborate with plants and finance teams to ensure seamless production and delivery, keeping operations running at peak performance.

This role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks unconventionally, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. You'll have the autonomy to shape customer strategies and the support to grow your impact across the organization.

Qualifications

You're an ambitious engineer or sales professional who's ready to blend technical expertise with customer impact. Whether you're coming from an MBA, engineering background, or technical sales role-if you're hungry to grow and make your mark, we want to hear from you.

What You Bring (Must-Haves):
  • Bachelor's degree in MBA, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
  • At least one successful product acquisition or project launch under your belt
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
  • Sharp communication skills-both written and verbal-that inspire confidence
  • A curious, open-minded mindset ready to challenge conventional thinking
  • Energy and drive to thrive in fast-paced, unconventional team environments
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (primarily domestic, with international opportunities)

Nice-to-Have Skills (We'd Love to See):
  • Background in braking or steering product development
  • Experience spanning both hardware sales and SaaS solutions
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Exposure to cross-functional product development or launch initiatives
  • Bilingual, either spanish or german
