The sales account manager supports customer accounts with a focus on pricing, quoting, and day-to-day commercial activities. This role is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding cost models, analyzing key inputs such as BOM and labor, and helping present costs to the customer. The positions works closely with finance, engineering, and operations to ensure accurate data and timely quotes, while also supporting customer communication and issue resolution.
Your Role:
- Support customer accounts with pricing updates and communication
- Support quotes and cost analysis
- Review BOM, labor, and other data to support accurate pricing
- Work with finance, engineering, and operations to gather inputs and keep data accurate
Your background:
- Excel, advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling
- English language, proficient and comfortable having conversations, written and verbal
- Financial acumen: cost breakdowns (labor, material, etc.), pricing/quote support
- +5 years of experience in similar roles (Sales Account Management, Commercial, Pricing, Cost Analysis, or related).
- Strong finance background, with proven experience in cost analysis, pricing, or financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial and operational data.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in complex or high-volume operations.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required.
