Review job hazard analyses, pre-task plans, Safety Task Assignments, permits, and work plans before work begins, with attention to electrical energization, lockout/tagout, ground disturbance, work at height, lifting, mobile equipment, and hot work.

Support electrical safety planning and execution, including qualified-person requirements, MOPs, safety zones, current one-line diagrams, arc-flash boundaries and PPE, energized-work controls, and lockout/tagout verification.

Coordinate project orientation, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and task-specific training; verify employee qualifications, competent-person designations, and training or certification records.

Lead or support response to injuries, near misses, vehicle or property damage, and emergencies; complete timely notifications and investigations, identify root causes, and track corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain accurate site safety records and required digital submissions, and participate in planning meetings, site walks, safety committees, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Support emergency preparedness, fit-for-duty, heat and cold stress, industrial hygiene, housekeeping, PPE, and other site programs as conditions require.

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive construction safety experience, including direct support of electrical construction activities.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction card and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA 70E, electrical safe-work practices, lockout/tagout, and common high-risk construction controls.

Demonstrated ability to recognize hazards, exercise stop-work authority, influence field teams, and drive corrective actions to closure.

Strong written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital project systems.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with employees, trade partners, customers, and project leadership.
