  • Maintain relevant safety reference materials
  • Provide onsite supervision for projects running 5-6 days a week
  • Be prepared for occasional night work and overnight travel

Job Title: Safety Manager

Location: Texas

Job Summary: W.W. Clyde is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to help us overseeour turnkeyconstruction projects in thefront range area andsurroundingstates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily safety & health inspections andmaintainwritten log
  • Overseeany and allsafety-related investigations and complete required reports
  • Ensure superintendent, project management, and subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements
  • Attendpre-construction, pre-work, and in-progress meetingsasrequired
  • Conducttrainingsona variety of risk management areas
  • Maintainapplicable safety reference material
  • Projects normally run 5-6 days a week requiring onsite supervision
  • Occasional night workand overnight travel

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 10years of construction experience
  • At least 3 years of Safety Manager experience
  • Hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST, OHST, OSHA 500
  • Required:Completed the OSHA 500 course for construction within the last24 months,remainingcurrent for the duration of the project.
  • Optional:Provide proof of non-expired completion of a Red Cross or approved equal for Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and (AED).
  • Optional:Provide proof of completion of FMCSA compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training.
  • Required:Excellent people, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Optional:Understanding of Owners Controlled Insurance Programs
  • Preferred:Bilingual (English/Spanish)
