Responsibilities

Safety Manager

As a Safety Manager, you'll play a key role in creating a jobsite culture where safety isn't just a requirement-it's something the entire team takes pride in. You'll be a visible leader on the project and partner with field teams to make sure everyone has the knowledge, tools, and support to work safely and go home safe every day.

  • Lead Jobsite Safety: Oversee all aspects of safety on a commercial construction project, ensuring OSHA compliance and industry best practices are consistently followed.
  • Build a Strong Safety Culture: Lead engaging daily safety meetings that keep teams informed, involved, and focused on working safely.
  • Respond & Investigate: Take the lead on accident reporting and investigations, identifying root causes and helping implement solutions that prevent future incidents.
  • Stay Ahead of Risk: Conduct daily safety audits and inspections, proactively identifying hazards and working with project teams to address them before they become an issue.
  • Partner with the Project Team: Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety expectations are understood, communicated, and followed across the entire project.
  • Champion High-Risk Safety Operations: Oversee critical activities including Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation, ensuring work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA requirements.
