Qualifications

• 7+ years of safety experience, including employee training
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in safety management
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid
• OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, OSHA 40hr training completion
• OSHA 500 and CHST certifications required
• CSP certification mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and local safety regulations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and online OSHA resources
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Develop and present reports for safety briefings to management
• Direct initiatives to improve Environmental, Health, and Safety performance
• Implement corporate safety manual and ensure compliance by all employees and subcontractors
• Oversee programs ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies
• Guide departmental processes related to safety compliance and accident investigation
• Provide performance coaching and feedback, and participate in the hiring process
