Safety ManagerPosition Overview The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety of all operations within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing safety policies, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety management systems and policies
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance
- Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training and resources to employees
- Perform hazard analysis to identify potential risks
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Proven experience in safety management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments
- Certification in safety management or related certifications is a plus
- Experience in incident investigation and hazard analysis
