The S&OP Planner leads the AIS Demand & S&OP team inside the CDSA (Capacity Delivery, Supportability & Analytics) organization. You will own the 0-2 year server-material Demand Plan of Record (POR) as well as transition plan for assigned server platforms. Your charter is to keep demand, supply, and financial plans in lock-step while building the automation and mechanisms that let AWS scale its GenAI and Core infrastructure faster, cheaper, and more sustainably. Success requires exceptional judgment, a builder's mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels-from front-line planners to VP- and SVP-level business owners.

- Prepare executive planning forums - framing trade-offs, summarizing data, and supporting leadership alignment across AIS, EC2, S3, EBS, Finance, and Energy.
- Build planning systems - Partner with software teams to support automation of demand-, supply-, and scenario-planning workflows (e.g., Connect, o9, Infor, Manhattan); maintain interim manual mechanisms until automation is in place.
- Support decision frameworks - Help develop constrained-planning models that surface risks and levers under power, permitting, or component shortages.
- Track and report key metrics - establish reliable KPIs and dashboards that quantify forecast accuracy, inventory turns, build-plan adherence, and capacity-delivery cycle time.
- Champion continuous improvement - Sponsor digital-transformation sprints that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and raise planning maturity across AIS .
