ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Mission Compliance & Systems Analyst to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and regulatory obligations. You won't just track tasks-you will engage directly with stakeholders to understand complex operational challenges, translate policy into machine-readable compliance automation rules, and create clear, actionable guidance for end users.

The annual base salary range for this role is $145,000-$171,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

Productivity & Presentation Tools: Proficiency with word processing, presentation, and document layout tools (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro) to build clean, professional deliverables.

Task Tracking & Collaboration: Direct experience using workflow and documentation management software, specifically JIRA and Confluence, to manage tasks and maintain transparent knowledge bases.

Customer Engagement & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, analyze problem spaces, and deliver practical solutions anchored in existing policy and documentation.

Briefings & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of preparing reports, executive briefings, and official responses tailored to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

Compliance Automation & Systems Analysis: Hands-on experience evaluating compliance requirements to design, implement, and maintain system requirements, internal controls, and machine-readable rules.

Policy & Documentation: Experience synthesizing complex legal and policy frameworks to write clear, easy-to-use user guides, policy guidance, and standard operating procedures.

Customer Authorities: Familiarity with customer-specific authorities and compliance frameworks, demonstrated through practical, hands-on experience.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law, Technical Field, Library Science, or a related discipline, PLUS 10+ years of relevant experience in programs involving Customer authorities OR Master's Degree or J.D. in a relevant discipline, PLUS 8+ years of specialized experience in compliance, legal analysis, or policy-to-technical translation OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 14+ years of relevant experience in legal/policy analysis and Customer authorities in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

Subject matter expertise in interpreting legal, privacy, or policy documents for automated compliance rule sets.

Experience facilitating workshops, user feedback sessions, or cross-functional working groups across multi-agency environments.

Prior exposure to agile project management methodologies within a government contracting setting.
