Full Job Description
We are actively seeking highly motivated individual for the role of Rotary Steerable Business Development Manager located in Houston, TX, who will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market share for the Company's Rotary Steerable System (RSS) product line. This role develops and maintains strategic customer relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and collaborates with operations, engineering, and technical teams to deliver drilling solutions that meet customer objectives. The successful candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven sales and business development experience to position the Company as a preferred provider of RSS technologies. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and market share for Rotary Steerable services. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including operators, drilling contractors, and strategic partners. - Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories and develop plans to secure new contracts. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and commercial solutions tailored to customer needs. - Negotiate commercial agreements while ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets. - Collaborate with operations, engineering, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. - Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams regarding technical requirements, tool capabilities, and operational performance. - Analyze drilling performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased value. - Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging Rotary Steerable technologies. - Represent the Company at industry events, conferences, customer meetings, and networking functions. - Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, CRM records, and business development reports. - Travel extensively to customer locations, field operations, and industry events as required. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Education** - Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. - Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered. **Experience** - Minimum 5 years of oilfield service experience with significant exposure to directional drilling and Rotary Steerable Systems. - Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development. - Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and growing revenue. - Strong understanding of directional drilling operations and RSS technologies. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** - Strong knowledge of directional drilling and Rotary Steerable applications. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to understand customer drilling objectives and develop technical solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. **Working Conditions** - Frequent travel (approximately 40-60%) to customer locations, field operations, and industry events. - Office and field environment. - Ability to visit drilling rigs and industrial facilities while wearing required PPE. **Physical Requirements** - Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. - Ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. - Ability to safely access customer field locations and drilling sites while complying with all safety requirements.
