Qualifications

• Final DoD granted SECRET security clearance required.
• PhD or Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 10 years, Associate with 15 years, or High School diploma with 20 years of experience in relevant field required.
• Experience in developing software control for robotic systems.
• Proficiency in evaluating advanced mathematical methods and algorithms for software development required.
• Strong background in software engineering methodologies and best practices needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop software control for robotic systems using real-time sensing and actuation.
• Create hardware and application-specific boot code for robotic services and OS loading.
• Evaluate and apply advanced algorithms in software development for performance requirements.
• Design, implement, and integrate complex software applications.
• Provide input on software system design including trade-offs and requirements analysis.
• Ensure software engineering processes adhere to industry standards and are repeatable.
• Review and test software components for compliance with design specifications.
