Job Title: Robotics Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent robotic systems that combine mechanical design, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and autonomous navigation. The ideal candidate will develop software and algorithms for robot perception, motion planning, localization, control, and human-robot interaction while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and production-ready robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robotic systems for industrial, commercial, healthcare, logistics, and research applications.
  • Develop robot software for perception, localization, mapping, navigation, motion planning, and control.
  • Implement AI, machine learning, and computer vision algorithms to improve robot autonomy and decision-making.
  • Develop sensor fusion solutions using cameras, LiDAR, radar, IMUs, GPS, ultrasonic sensors, and encoders.
  • Design and optimize robot kinematics, dynamics, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
  • Build applications using ROS/ROS2 and integrate robotic hardware with software components.
  • Develop and validate robotic solutions in simulation environments before deployment.
  • Integrate robotic systems with cloud platforms, IoT devices, and enterprise applications where required.
  • Optimize robotic applications for real-time performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, calibration, and field validation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
  • Stay current with advancements in robotics, AI, autonomous systems, and edge computing technologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in robotics software development or robotic system engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS2.
  • Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and motion planning.
  • Experience with Linux development environments and Git version control.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time software development.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployment.
  • Experience integrating robotic hardware, sensors, and actuators.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), robotic arms, collaborative robots (cobots), or humanoid robots.
  • Experience with computer vision using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or YOLO.
  • Knowledge of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), sensor fusion, and autonomous navigation.
  • Experience using simulation platforms such as Gazebo, Webots, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Unity.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, edge AI devices, or embedded GPU platforms.
  • Familiarity with reinforcement learning for robotic control.
  • Experience with cloud robotics, fleet management, or remote robot monitoring.
  • Understanding of robotic safety standards and functional safety principles.
