Consultant in Robotics and Physical AI to drive the strategy, scoping and deployment of physical AI and humanoid robotics across data center hardware and logistics ecosystems, working with an EPAM key account in the San Francisco Bay area. You will partner directly with advanced machine learning teams, engineering groups, logistics operations and top-tier robotics Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to transition manual workflows into scalable, autonomous robotic solutions. This role sits at the intersection of operational strategy and hardware automation. You will oversee end-to-end pilot execution for critical data center workflows and manage integrations with leading bipedal and wheeled humanoid robotic partners. Req.#[redacted] Responsibilities Conduct physical data center and warehouse floor audits to map workstation-level constraints, ergonomics, cycle times and human-robot cohabitation requirements Capture video footage, layout plans and operational task flows for physical AI training Coordinate across machine learning teams, logistics operations and hardware engineering to validate joint-venture testbeds Manage end-to-end pilot execution for critical data center workflows, including memory and storage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) extraction, secure destruction and material staging Evaluate, benchmark and manage pilot integrations with leading bipedal and wheeled humanoid robotic partners Track operational key performance indicators and manage Return on Investment (ROI) models focused on labor optimization and eliminating Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage risks Oversee data pipelines and Application Programming Interface (API) contracts bridging robotic fleet managers with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and other enterprise warehouse management systems Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in robotics, mechanical/industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent experience Five or more years of experience managing automation, warehouse logistics or hardware programs Familiarity with physical AI, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, robot kinematics, end-effectors and integration with enterprise resource planning systems Experience in data center hardware operations, RMA disposition workflows, cleanroom/ESD-safe material handling or hazardous disassembly Proven track record in piloting automated solutions, managing vendor requests for proposals, utilizing structured use-case prioritization matrices and ensuring on-site deployment safety Clear communication to coordinate across complex engineering, operations and vendor groups Nice to have Specific experience integrating ruggedized hardware and edge communication within a data center environment
