About the RoleCSI is seeking Robotics Engineers to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates with a strong robotics background and exposure to vision systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Build and maintain simulations using Process Simulate, ROBOGUIDE, Emulate3D, etc.
- Validate cycle time, throughput, JPH, and capacity
- Identify bottlenecks and improve system flow
- Support virtual commissioning with PLC/HMI/robot controls teams
- Develop workcell documentation, robot data, payloads, videos, and reports
- Participate in design reviews, builds, and customer/project meetings
- Concept, develop and plan machine robotic automation solutions, to include custom product development when required
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations including the set-up and programming of equipment as well as testing, report writing and presentation
- 30% Travel required
- Mix of office and plant environment
Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of work experience with Process Simulation
- 3+ years of work experience with Fanuc Robots
- Strong experience with robotic/system simulation software
- Background in manufacturing automation / robotics
- Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and safety systems
- Knowledge of ANSI/RIA / ISO robotic safety standards preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- AMR / autonomous mobile robot simulation
- Throughput modeling (Plant Simulation, Arena, AutoMod)
