    • Validate installations against drawings and specifications; escalate discrepancies to engineering.
    • Track the delivery, condition, and storage of materials for capital projects arriving onsite. Verify that equipment received matches purchase orders and engineering specifications. Coordinate with supply chain and project engineers to address missing or damaged materials.
    • Support troubleshooting or technical clarification requests from contractors.
    • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Field Construction Oversight

  • Monitor contractor performance, schedule adherence, and work quality. Ensure contractor compliance with work scopes, procedures, and permit requirements.
  • Walk jobs with construction contractors to review work practices, validate understanding of scope, and ensure installation quality.
  • Provide real-time field feedback to project engineers regarding constructability, design issues, and site conditions.
  • Support punchlist development, execution, and closeout.

HSSE Leadership
  • Act as the field-level HSSE representative, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory safety requirements. Help maintain a strong safety culture across all onsite activities.
  • Coach contractors on safe work practices; stop unsafe work when required.
  • Conduct field inspections and support field-level permitting and Management of Change (MOC) processes. Ensure contractors understand and comply with all required permits. Facilitate field execution of MOCs by validating scope impacts, confirming that changes are documented, and ensuring that all required approvals are in place before work proceeds.

Project Interface & Reporting

  • Document field activities, deviations, and lessons learned.
  • Support commissioning and startup activities as required.
