🩺 What You'll Do:- Lead and inspire a team of nursing professionals, ensuring high-quality care and compassionate service across the unit.
- Build a winning team culture, improving staff retention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments-rehab, social services, activities, dietary, pharmacy, and consulting physicians-to maintain personalized care plans for each resident.
- Promote safety and policy compliance, proactively managing risk and supporting a culture of accountability.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and performance, fostering professional growth and team morale.
- Monitor and drive quality assurance initiatives that continuously improve resident care and operational excellence.
- Provide direct nursing support, including medication administration, as needed.
📘 What You'll Bring:- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Required)
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Active RN license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (Required)
- BLS/CPR Certification via American Heart Association (Required within 30 days of hire)
