RN Unit ManagerChatham Hills Subacute Care CenterFull-TimeThe RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned nursing unit.
- Lead, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor clinical documentation and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct daily rounds and address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest standards of care and resident satisfaction.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care plan meetings.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure survey readiness and assist during state and federal inspections.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence in resident care.
Qualifications:- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Subacute Rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
