Job Summary and QualificationsThe Transplant and Cellular Therapy RN performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes for cellular therapy and complex blood cancer patients. The RN is responsible for the delivery and management of patient care, education of the patient and family, providing/coordinating psychosocial/emotional support, and coordination of all aspects of care among internal and external facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Nevada
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1+ years experience required
- 3+ years relevant experience preferred
- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Transplant and Cellular Therapy trained
- Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMT-CN) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) obtained within 2 years of employment required
- Completion of Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) competency within one year of hire
