Qualifications

• 1 year of current adult acute care RN experience is required.
• Completion of chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire.
• Must earn an average of 12 oncology-related contact hours per year or hold a current cancer-specific certification.
• BSN degree required from an accredited program within 30 days prior to start date, or ADN with enrollment in BSN program within 3 years.
• Current, unencumbered Oregon State RN License is mandatory.
• BLS certification from AHA is required, with completion during orientation for new hires.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Bone Marrow Transplant patients requiring Negative Airflow Isolation.
• Support the Hepatic Arterial Infusion Pump program.
• Administer care to surgical oncology patients with complex procedures like Whipples and liver resections.
• Manage care for medical oncology patients experiencing sarcoma and end-of-life issues.
• Assist in general surgery for procedures such as esophagectomies and colon resections.
• Deliver care to patients undergoing treatments in gynecological and radiation oncology.
• Provide end-of-life and inpatient hospice care as needed.
