Job Summary and Qualifications The Nursing Supervisor ensures high quality, patient-centered nursing care through oversight of a specific shift or segment of operations. The Nursing Supervisor monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values, and creates an environment to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
What you will do in this role:

Then they should delete the credentials- Participates in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Implements evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Models, promotes, and holds staff accountable for providing consistent, positive interactions that create an unparalleled patient experience. Ensures adherence to standards of care.
- Fosters interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within and across departments to meet patient care needs.
- Participates in interviews, selection, onboarding, and training of staff.
- Assumes responsibility for the daily management of staff, including operational supervision, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversees staff scheduling. Maintains staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Ensures equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
- Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
- Represents the organization positively within the community; participates in company-supported community/patient events and in-services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
