Working closely with Angiography, Cardiovascular, and Electrophysiology Technologists, our nurses deliver the highest quality care using cutting-edge technologies for both diagnosis and treatment. You’ll find these Cardiovascular and Hybrid Labs at each Legacy site, offering a dynamic, team-based environment focused on excellence and patient-centered outcomes.
Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. Responsibilities
Provides care across all Cath Lab service lines and patient populations, excluding those at Emanuel and Randall Children’s Hospitals
Supports a comprehensive range of procedures, including:
Interventional cardiology
Vascular procedures
Adult and pediatric interventional radiology
Adult and pediatric interventional neuroradiology
Adult and pediatric electrophysiology
Structural heart interventions
Pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology
Delivers direct patient care in the assigned Hospital Cath Lab setting
Functions as a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, in collaboration with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee
Adheres to the Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse
Performs all phases of the nursing process: Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care
Follows Legacy Health System standards, including those for patient assessment and patient transfer
Qualifications
Education:
As required by licensure:
- BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
- BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience:
- One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum, and duration.
- Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Licensure
- Current applicable state RN license required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS from the American Heart Association.
Pay RangeUSD $54.37 - USD $81.21 /Hr.
