Job Overview

Fairview is hiring a Nurse RN to provide leadership support at our Musculoskeletal Clinics in Minneapolis and Maple Grove, MN. These clinics offer a wide range of services for a variety of orthopedic surgery, non-operative sports medicine and podiatric needs. We're here to treat conditions affecting ankles, feet, hands, shoulders, elbows, and spine, as well as musculoskeletal tumors in children and adults. We assess our patients' needs and care for them wherever they are in their journey. Our Musculoskeletal team consists of specialized physicians, Advance Practice Providers, nurse care coordinators, athletic trainers, Medical Assistants, physical and occupational therapist. Providing complete assessment and comprehensive treatment plans for our patients. From intake to surgical interventions, our team members are trained to facilitate the best experience for our patients.

Location: Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center Building - 909 Fulton St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 (majority of time will be here)

Additional Location: Maple Grove - 14500 99th Ave N Maple Grove, MN 55369

Hours: 40 hours/week. Full time, Salaried position

Shifts- Days. Evenings as needed. Weekends as needed

What you will do as a Service Line Site Supervisor:

The Clinic Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of designated staff. Provides workflow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership to designated staff ( RN, MA, LPN, Athletic Trainer)
  • Actively supports the recruitment, orientation, and promotes the engagement of all clinical staff
  • Accountable for initial and ongoing competencies for staff
  • Ensures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate
  • Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations
  • Fosters an environment in which the team holds each other accountable to Fairview behaviors and values
  • Works collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations of the site(s)
  • Anticipates and responds to physician/provider staffing needs and assures that support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access, and patient demand
  • Performs appropriate due diligence to resolve patient and staff concerns
  • Collaborates with leadership to help collect data through use of reporting to analyze, forecast, plan and direct clinic operations
  • Promotes, supports, and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation
  • Practices as a financial steward; provides input as appropriate related to clinic budget

Required Qualifications
  • A.A./A.S. in Nursing, healthcare, business or related field required
  • Current MN RN license
  • 1 year demonstrated leadership (lead) experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in clinical rooming
  • B.S./B.A. in healthcare, business or related field required
  • 1-3 years previous supervisory/management experience
  • BLS Certification (american heart or red cross)
