Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Profession: RN (Registered Nurse)

Shift: 10H Days Monday-Thursday
Hours per Shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, plus weekend call rotating
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
- Level 1 Trauma experience
- 3's and 4's in all areas

Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room.
Experience in all service lines is required.
Common cases include a wide variety of surgical procedures for all ages, including pediatrics in emergency situations.
The candidate will assist with both outpatient and inpatient surgeries of all acuities, including Level 1 trauma.
Surgical specialties include general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), thoracic, and endoscopy.
Robotic surgery experience is desired, specifically with the Davinci Robot.
The candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.
Self-scheduling and cyclic scheduling will be utilized based on department needs.
There will be weekly on-call requirements and weekend call every five weeks.
Scrubs are provided by the facility, and artificial nails are not permitted.
Additional time off requests beyond initial submissions will not be approved.
The facility reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts during the assignment period.
This position does not require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
The expected charting system is EPIC.
